A simulation is completed when it reaches a terminal outcome. “Completed” does not mean “successful”.
An individual simulation is completed when its status becomes one of these:
Successful: the run finished and Simola detected your success signal.
Failed: the run finished but could not submit or could not confirm success.
These states are not completed:
Scheduled: waiting in the queue for its time slot.
Running: currently executing in the browser.
Paused: execution is intentionally stopped.
A simulation group is completed when:
All simulations in the group are in a terminal state (successful or failed), and
There are no remaining simulations left to schedule in the group’s date range.
Groups can complete with a mix of successful and failed runs.
A campaign is completed when all its simulation groups are completed. A campaign can also be paused even if it has remaining work.
If a campaign is paused, “completion” won’t progress. Resume it to continue scheduling.
