How to add custom field?

Add a custom field when Simola didn’t detect it, or when you need extra data. This is common for hidden fields, optional fields, or fields inside dynamic components.

Where to add fields

Add fields in Campaign Configuration → Step 1 (Form selection).

Add the custom field

Open the form field list

Go to the form you’re configuring. Find the detected fields section.

Create the field

Add a new field and set:

• A clear label (used in templates and mapping).

• Field type (text, email, phone, select, checkbox, etc.).

• Selector details if required (how Simola targets the element).

Mark required (only if truly required)

If you mark the field required, Simola will validate it during CSV upload and can block simulations when it’s missing.

After you add a field

• Re-check required fields and the primary key in Step 2.

• Re-download the CSV template if you run from CSV.

• Re-test once before running volume.

If the campaign is Active, pause it before changing configuration. Then re-test and resume.
